What are you supposed to do if you get stuck in a lift and you don't have your laptop (or zero cell signal for example)?

what are those modern quic-based terminal emulators? i never heard about the concept before.

I got stuck in a lift once. I mashed button combinations to get eventually get out. I found out after the fact you need to hold down the buttons.

User interfaces are apparently hard...

I once had internet only through the wifi of a cafe that was a little ways away. As I recall the average speed was 2.5 kB/s.

The web didn't work at all, but I was able to use mosh, so I used w3m (terminal based web browser) on my VPS and was able to have a reasonably pleasant time on the web.

I acknowledge SSH auth requests with my security key backed ed25519-sk ssh key. Something that wasn't even on the radar back when they closed this ticket. (Just like their "solution" guardian-agent is no longer on the radar.)
