I've always felt that AI tutoring as we see it now is going in the wrong direction. I made Knowable as a way to see if it's possible to have a real AI tutor.

Because of hardware limitations it can only be used on Macbooks 2023+.

I'm not sure why i would need this , but as a project it's pretty good. Although i couldn't use this because im on linux haha

Cool, good project. tried it works. I think it will have great experience, along with voice mode, where I can talk, like in voice mode of chatgpt, while also practicing in notebook.

It works on Macbook but not on Mac studio? How?

Ah it requires a special camera that only macbooks have :( But I'm working on a tutorial to get it working via an iPhone stand + continuity camera!

This is very interesting. Ideal for high school level education. Don’t be surprised if most people don’t quite get it at first - it’s a new capability. Must have been a challenging build. Congrats on shipping it.
