Need auxiliary Technical Support Engineer?

I was wondering if anyone who be interested in me providing services for them as a Technical Support Engineer. I am US based, read/write/speak English fluently. I have a wide variety of experience in information technology including being a developer using C++, PHP, Python, Ruby, JavaScript and working with NoSQL and SQL databases.

Why would I want this?

The main reason is to keep you developers working and not answering emails/support tickets that are out of the scope of a tier one customer service rep, like coding examples or integration issues. If you have supported libraries for your product, I could handle issues for them and submit pull requests, or do the research for your developers and give a detailed bug report, or see if I can verify a bug.

If you needed someone to create demo projects or any other small tasks that the developers have not been able to finish because of other priorities, I can work on those for you as well.

Target Company:

First off, the company would need to have an API or target developers in some way. My target company would be a one that does not have enough justification to hire a technical support engineer full time or the need for one is too sporadic to give anyone a standing set of hours.

What would I provide for you?

I would be available on as needed basis or monthly retainer to perform all the tasks that I speak about. I would charge $50/hr (billed in 10 minute increments) on demand or $45/hr (billed in 5 min increments) for monthly retainers. Priority will be given to monthly retainers.

What is the next step?

Contact me! michael.beale at gmail dot com. I will also give out 2 free hours to get started to work out any communication procedures or if you want to verify my acumen

Thanks for reading this.
