[–] drpixie 1mo ago ↗ Their basic point is very valid, and the term "AI" is now so overused that it's become essentially meaningless.Recently I've heard "AI" used to mean:* using large language models for code/text/image generation* goal-driven search of a problem space* pattern extraction from images* algorithmic decision making* audio pattern recognition* something (unspecified) using lots of computers* and more trivially, "doing it on a computer"!
