Weekly VSCode Grumbling

Why is it constantly changing and most basic problems are under the rug?

Long time ago I reported it and went to backlog or sg. It may seem like a minor issue, but it can be quite frustrating and has a straightforward fix.

When scrolling horizontally, it's not apparent that the characters are still there, they're simply not visible.
