Slow thinking leads to deliberate deep thinking about something instead of repeating nonsense factoids.

Compounding over time, this kind of thinking develops expertise from first principles thinking and you can talk extempore about most things.

I never watch political debates because this kind of careful thinking is totally excluded by the nature of the format. The candidates have a menu of memorized statements they can make in response to any given question and pausing to think is seen as weakness or indecision.

I am too and that has been the most important part of my personality- I can dive deeper and think of all different aspects of a topic
