[sigh/] While I'm sure this ugly mess inspires undiluted joy in a whole lotta very malicious people, I suspect that most brighter Jews understand that it is just one more in a whole series of self-inflicted strategic defeats.

The most strinking part of this FT article is the note about Aliyah which literally is “ascent”, and means moving into the country: emigrants were often called "yordim", so those who descend...
I don't write more, I don't know words that are not Shibboleths anymore. When not talking about all this, make sure you do/do-not pronounce the "Shhhh" right.
