On first look, this sounds hilarious and therefore must be good. Some yaps:
- Omegle was known for people who would, well, traumatize people over the Internet using video. This could end up encountering that issue if it gets big enough, because unfortunately some people are going to ruin the fun
Short version: phone on the floor, get in a plank, camera counts your reps. Someone else is doing the same somewhere, and you both watch one scoreboard.
The counting all happens on the phone, and the only thing that travels is the rep timestamps. That is why the other person's number moves the moment they move.
