Ask HN: What is the job market like in your country?

I’m interested in what the IT job market looks like around the world. For me:

Country: USA I have a job, took a $24k pay cut to get one, and have been applying to posted positions since January. Not a single response other than automated kickbacks a few weeks later, and zero responses from probably 90% of jobs I applied to. I ditched LinkedIn because it’s useless for finding work. Indeed seems to have legit jobs posted but they’re few and far between.

All in all, I think my days in tech are over. Jobs seem to pay less while the price of everything keeps going up. I was literally better off a decade ago when I made half of what I do now.
