Am I crazy or does this just link to their usual pricing page? I don't see anything about changes, and it seems to be the same price it's always been for me.
You're not crazy. The link title (on the frontpage) is "Fastmail Pricing Changes" with zero context and the link is just their current prices. I don't know what the previous prices were.
Yeah not much info here. But I checked my email, my yearly plan went from $55 USD ($76 AUD) to $90 AUD. Got a notification about 4 months ago. A jump, but for me I'm ok with it. But I don't know the other plan changes.
I don’t see any pricing changes on this page. It’s not a blog post announcing a change. I’ve seen Fastmail’s pricing in different currencies for sometime now. So what exactly is new here?
Related: I’ve always felt that Fastmail is quite expensive compared to other email services with similarly long histories. For one mailbox it may be fine. For two, probably. If you want more than a few, you could get better value from other providers, depending on your exact needs. This is for all the default “I’m moving out of <email provider whose name starts with G> and chose Fastmail” kinds.
