Show HN: Toned, an iPhone darkroom app that models film negatives and paper

I am interested in simulating pyshical processes in software so i decided to build an iPhone app that simulates film negatives and paper.

It models in 2 stages: scene light -> color negative -> print reflectance

The negative uses per-dye-layer H&D curves and the paper also has its own response curves.

If you've ever spent time in a real darkroom, I would really like you to try the app and share your opinions.

I'll definitely give this a try. I double majored in photography and American photography history in college (I know, super useful... now I work in tech). I had my own darkroom. What I loved to do (and would love the ability to do digitally) as to blow out the whites and make the B/W contrast a max while combining multiple negatives at once. Sort of like a collage, layering the negatives on top of each other. Can you do that in the app? Also - I'm sure - is it easy enough to convert any color image to B/W and adjust the levels?
