You know what they say: this ain’t an airport, no need to announce your leave.

What do authors want when writing posts like these? Round of applause? Praise letters? Hugs?

You stopped using software X for Y. Hurray you.

The point is that Claude Pro has an onerous and artificial limitation that impacts one's ability to get work done. No one cares that some random guy is not using it. People probably do care that they can only work in five-hour blocks.
"I stopped using software x for y"

> Blog post clearly generated by software x

Nah, it reads much more like ChatGPT than like Claude to me.
Claude copy-edited before my subscription expired.
Full screen pop-up = page closed.
Haha. That is the only annoying thing about Medium IMO. The interface is quite nice otherwise.
> Claude is genuinely good. Better writing than most of the alternatives,

Is that really how people feel? That’s not my subjective experience at all. I find Claude’s writing style “annoying”, for lack of a better description.

It is. I found ChatGPT's to be annoying with all of the -- and emojis

To get better quality I provided it some of my blog-posts pre-AI so it could understand my writing style. That helped a lot.

For what it’s worth, there’s an emoji dial in the settings. I’ve set mine to:

Warm: Less

Enthusiastic: Less

Headers & Lists: Default

Emoji: Less
