We need a distributed version of such a service... all these platforms have taken user-generated content, and made it their "exclusive" property.

This needs to be fixed.

I'm working on it, but if you have any inputs about how to make it distributed I am all hears.

DHT's? Similar to how bittorrent uses them.. "seeders" can provide different types of service "lookups".
