When's the last time you changed the water filter in your refrigerator? Or checked the air filter on your HVAC system?

Do it today!

I do it monthly because it’s easier to remember that way.
Thx, but I have neither air conditioning nor a water filter in my fridge
This is the first I've heard of any refrigerators even having water filters. Are they plumbed into the water mains, or a small tank?
Most refrigerators in the US have automatic ice cube making and water dispensing. At least ones in homes, rental properties tend to skimp on this unless they are labelled "luxury". Its connected to the water supply of the house, typically with a smaller diameter plastic hose.

There's a carbon filter inside the fridge, they cost about $50 to replace. For any drinking water I usually use the fridge.

Funny thought - what if we had filters on our computers, digital filters, that needed cleaning. Oh we kind of do! Its cookies and tracing pixels and digital footprints. You should clean those out too.

And do not forget the dust that accumulates on the computers.
Fridge water dispensers are usually quite flimsy and the first thing to break. I can fully understand why rental properties would disable them or get ones without the feature.
Since we are on reminders: Car engine air filter Car cabin air filter Car oil Clean gutters ...

Not an ad, but my life has become way simpler since I started using a free app called Tick Tick. I run it on my phone and my PC. My Orchids have never been happier. Of course I have a few 'past due' items I need to finish, but at least they are not forgotten.

My fridge has a water and ice on the door. There is a filter at the bottom front side of the fridge for it.

While we are on the topic, also get regular maintenance for your hot water heater or end up replacing it earlier than it's expected lifetime.
