Ask HN: Should you open-source your Claude Code project docs with the repo?

I want to open source a repo, but the repo has a lot of docs that were generated in the process over months - specs, milestones, project planning, etc.

I am ok open sourcing it, but it seems a bit unnecessary - what is the standard practice for this?
