I prefer the less dogmatic mental model of one-way and two-way doors.

Some decisions are possible to reverse (two-way door), while others are not or would be very costly to reverse (one-way door).

It is worth reflecting on whether most things we do or decide on tend to be two-way or one-way doors. My experience, but also sense of agency, lands me in the two-way door is much more common camp.
