Comcast "offers" to track you in your home (corporate.comcast.com)

I've been reading the theoretical papers on Wi-Fi as a tracking system (https://publikationen.bibliothek.kit.edu/1000185756) but dang now Comcast is actually selling this?!?! And people believe this is a good idea?!?
