I did prompt it. Let's Encrypt still doesn't issue .onion certificates :) Onion Services already provide end-to-end encryption and service authentication anyway. Tor currently lists DigiCert and HARICA for publicly trusted onion certs. I actually use a HARICA certificate on the onion mirror of this very blog, so I promise HTTPS on onions has crossed my mind before.

This has nothing to do with "The Onion". It's talking about a TOR service. Importantly, TFA does not capitalize "the onion" in its title, and I don't understand why this post does.

Suddenly at 11:10am PT I can't find this OP in the top 210 HN posts. I'm pretty sure I found it on the front page less then 20 minutes ago.

It doesn't show as flagged. Do other see the same? Anyone know what is going on?
