They were my first VPS. I've kept it running continuously the whole time; I have its IPv4 address memorized. Didn't think I'd ever want to give it up but here we are. Lesson learned, no more emotional attachment to infrastructure

I don't use products from any of these companies, with two exceptions: I use Stripe as a consumer when I need to buy something on a site which uses them for their payment processing, and I use Cloudflare as a consumer when a site I visit uses them; in general it seems completely impossible to avoid CF and still use the internet.
I certainly don't use any of them for side projects or other business purposes, and now I won't be using DigitalOcean for those purposes either.
