So Apple looked at Microsoft's "Recall" project and thought they could do that in an even creepier way?

Also, some states have laws around recording of conversations without every party's knowledge/consent. How will that be achieved?

Apple seems to be putting responsibility for appropriate use of this feature on the user, which will end badly.
