[–] alephnerd 17h ago ↗ The current iteration of Al Qaeda in Afghanistan is different from the Bin Laden era. Same with the remnants of Islamic State in Afghanistan. It's difficult to explain but basically it's basically an India/Afghanistan versus Pakistan proxy fight now.The more scary Al Qaeda branches from a transnational perspective are those fighting in the Sahel and West Africa.
