It's a berry, I don't think it's that hard to grow them and get better at it, especially when you already do that for other fruits that grow on bushes.

Why is there this recent them that anything China is good at, they must have stolen or "swiped" from someone else? Where's the FUD about the national security dangers if they pass us in food production?

Because that's how that country works? China uses other countries and companies as R&D.
How do they have some things that are more advanced than the rest of the world, like EV batteries?

Where do you think the United States gets all its chips? We certainly do not know how to print them ourselves nearly as well as the Dutch and Taiwanese, probably the Chinese too. Are we not relying on other countries for R&D across a number of industries? Is there something bad about sharing advancements at the global scale.
