Pulley is shutting down and will cease all operations and services on Dec 8th

I just received notice that Pulley [1] is shutting down and will be transitioning all their customers to Carta. According to the homepage:

> THIS NOTICE SERVES TO INFORM YOU THAT PULLEY WILL BE SHUTTING DOWN AND WILL CEASE ALL OPERATIONS AND SERVICES ON 12/8/26.

Besides Carta, are there any other equity management solutions that the USA-based HN community uses?

People have a lot of complaints about Carta. Eqvista is a highly-rated alternative, and for Pulley customers, Eqvista is offering:

- Free white-glove migration

- First year of cap table management free

- $500 toward your first year's 409A valuation plan

- Migration in as little as 3–5 business days

- Dedicated migration specialist

- Review your migrated cap table before you commit

We used EQ Vista and had nothing but issues from day 1. It was a mess. Would not recommend or proceed with caution
Hi, Tomas here, founder of Eqvista. Thanks so much for mentioning us! I really appreciate it!
Consider not using a platform...it's quite a first-time founder thing to spend time on maintaining the cap table to realise:

- your valuation doesn't change all that often

- you don't really want investors and employees spending their time asking you about their shares (and liquidity)

- 409A: ask Claude about when you're granting options and how to minimise time spent on your tax related obligations

I am one of the founders. We been tirelessly working for 6 years to built an epic product. We have thousands of startups and scaleups on there with very strong feedback for ease of use and customer support!

It's super easy to get started and migrate. You can self-serve onboard and migrate but if you like the sales and CS teams can help too!

Venture backed founders need to know when to tell VCs to fuck off and just run their businesses properly.

Raise >> scale >> raise cycle is toxic and can't go on forever.

It's irresponsible to shut down a business like this when there are options

I use Altshare for options management, captables and equity, they have a great solution for equity round simulations and waterfalls, 409A and stock based compensation. Great solution, best people.
I work with Altshare, highly recommended! Ai Native and best support. Working with them for years and they are number 1.
Altshare is a great equity management platform relatively new to the US market, they have a far superior tech stack to what Carta is offering.

I work with Altshare - we got lots of requests from pulley's customers - so we set a dedicated team for smooth transition, plus with have an AI driven, single click onboarding , so its an easy self serve.
