Show HN: Sanemark – Markdown LSP for notes readable in plain text (github.com)

Hey HN!

I built Sanemark, a Markdown LSP for taking notes.

Some design choices:

1. Automatically moves inline links to reference links as part of formatting, so the flow of reading doesn't break due to large inline links

2. File linking is achieved using standard Markdown links (instead of Obsidian style).

Apart from this it implements filepath autocomplete, broken file-link diagnostics, table formatting etc.

Available as extensions for VS Code and Zed.

The code was generated using AI, but I guided the implementation and design along with beta-testing it.

It’s been useful for my own note-taking, wanted to share in case others find it useful too.
