Hi, my name is Pablo, a product designer learning to ship my own products.

I built Maxxmod, a Chrome extension for improving the YouTube experience.

Key features:

- Hide Shorts, comments, and recommendations

- Set default speed and video quality

- Add loop, screenshot, and Picture-in-Picture controls

- Customize thumbnail size

- Mini player while scrolling

- Subscriptions feed in chronological order and list view

- Clean up search results

- 60+ features in total

I did the research, competitive analysis and UI design in Figma. Then I started building it with a small development team, but the project stalled halfway through. Later returned to it and finished it with Codex.

Nice work, Pablo! Customizing thumbnail sizes can definitely be tricky to get just right.

For resizing images quickly, you might find the built-in tools on Windows or macOS helpful, as are apps available for iPhone and Android. Even Google Docs and Word have basic resize functions that could do the job. Sometimes getting the pixel dimensions correct is enough.

If you need more precise control over resizing, I created a browser tool that lets you resize JPG, PNG and WebP images to exact pixel sizes or by percentage, while preserving aspect ratio.
