Thanks for the feedback! I updated the library to try to be clearer. This is a sympathetic restoration – there are some things that weren't true in 90s-era browsers that are tolerated to create parity with modern use-cases, e.g. using visibility for the blink tag and allowing onClick handlers (amongst others).
All the same I've gone through and tried to clean it up to be as faithful as possible while still preserving the idea.
