Show HN: Talk to Sam (AI) and send a real letter by post (sendwithsam.com)

I built a little piece of Her. Remember Theodore's job writing letters for other people? You talk to Sam, edit the letter together, then have it printed and mailed.

I put a lot of time and effort into making it feel as close to the movie as possible. Very happy with the animations! Try it out!

I gave it a try and had trouble with my microphone. I did give it permissions but it never heard me speaking. I also liked the intro animations, but I really prefer to just begin when I get to a site. Was there some other work happening behind the scenes that need the animation wait time?
