Oh cry me a river Mozilla.

Edge can be uninstalled in many cases.

Focus on building a better browser instead of stomping your feet about how it's not fair.

Funny how Google has never made these whiny complaints and yet went from nothing to capturing the entire market.

Edge has 5% market share, which is embarrassingly low.

At my place of employment there was discussion of banning everything except for edge on company pcs. Their propaganda must be getting good around services only working on their browser platform.
The frustrating thing is that IT can make a perfectly reasonable argument about reducing support overhead by standardizing on one browser. Microsoft just happens to be in a great position to make sure that browser is theirs.
How does one uninstall Microsoft Edge these days? The option is grayed out on my Windows 11 machine.

Edit: Also, Microsoft Bing app. How do I remove from Windows 11?

It's interesting how much of modern software competition happens through little bits of friction rather than outright restrictions
