I posted 100 tiktoks as introverted engineer

I've been coding for over 10 years.

I've been employed in a corporation, startup...

Then I opened my own startup, raised money, struggled, closed it.

This year I wanted to ride a wave of solo builders (inspired by Pieter Levels, Marc Lou and others).

It sounded awesome, and I hate to admit, but it sounded kinda easy.

Build an app in a week, find viral formats on TikTok, recreate them, go viral, get rich.

Easy right?

Well. I have locked my introvert personality in a box and put it under my bed, while I started filming my self to promote my apps.

First few videos got 700 views... well you gotta start somewhere right?

But then I just didn't manage to escape that prison.

Somewhere in between I actually managed to get first customers; around $150... nothing mind blowing, I know.

After 60 posted videos I started doubting everything... and the obvious happened.

I have started building a new app. I just wanted to feel productive again...

It worked!.. for a day or two.

Then again the distribution time has came..

Same rabbit hole.

Posting on Reddit was another idea, but I know it's likely in exchange for my soul (bad experience launching software there :)).

Not sure if I even want to ask anything or just share my story at this point...

But if there is anyone who reads this and thinks: "Damn I am complete opposite, I love filming videos and marketing, but don't have ideas or can't build." Make sure to contact me :D
