Ask HN: Moving Away from O365 / Google Workspace

We’ve been longtime Google Workspace users in one of my businesses, and O365 in the other. We’re now looking for alternatives, as we’d like to be less US dependent. But - utility is important, as is price. Anyone made the switch, and if so, who to? What are the gotchas?

Switched over to Faivelo recently, great on price was paying about $300 before on google workspace and got that down to $20 , loving the unlimited mailbox thing aswell , its also EU hosted so theres that too.

The gotchas were that i messed up the order of bringing our domain over, so had a window of missing some emails but after i did the first domain i realised that and was fine using the migration tool after
