Yes, many posts in this technology and business forum are about the ongoing singularity. Wouldn't the alternative be very strange?

This isn't a technology and business forum, it literally says as much in the guidelines. And the singularity isn't real.

And the alternative wouldn't be strange. The alternative would be a diverse community of people discussing various topics of interest in the pursuit of satisfying intellectual curiosity. Even with the sphere of technology and business.

It is actually strange how everyone is becoming obsessed about only one thing, and how that's become the only topic of interest for people. I snarked that HN is just an AI forum a while ago but it seems to really be turning into one.
