Ask HN: Will Proton integrate Standard Notes?

Proton announced its acquisition of Standard Notes on 10 April 2024[0]. I've been wondering if this will surface in the main product suite, or if it will remain a separate subscription and experience.

Any news?

Proton has said no for now. Standard Notes' Dec 2025 update says it "will continue to have its own plan and pricing" and stays a distinct product, with Proton helping on things like localization (https://standardnotes.com/blog/2025-update). Proton's autumn/winter 2026 roadmap (15 Oct) doesn't mention Standard Notes at all (https://proton.me/blog/2026-autumn-winter-roadmaps). The one recent SN-specific change is that they're retiring Listed, their blogging feature, on 31 Dec to focus on the notes app (https://listed.to/@Listed/76799/an-update-about-listed).
