Every vote matters; I think they can see, regardless, how many people are voting specifically "against" the current authorities.
Sort of, in a weird way. They do seem to treat their ability to get the results they want as a test of the ability to steer things. But there is no true result to hide, it's rigged all the way down.
>London was assigned to a constituency in the Tomsk Oblast, a region in Siberia

Why should an emigrant in London affect the life of a city in Siberia he has no relation to? He has no skin in the game, if life becomes worse because of his choice, it will not affect him in any way.

>But in 2023, the State Duma passed a law under which overseas polling stations would only issue the proportional-representation ballot. One less reason to go to the election.

Good. Vote in British elections, have fun

>the least repulsive party

This kind of "Holier than thou" attitude is part of the reason why "Russian liberals" are not popular in Russia

>you get the feeling there’s plenty of room in there for someone to get disappeared

He means like Saudis killed and dismembered WP journalist in their embassy in Turkey? Saudi Arabia as a very good friend of the GB[0].

Notice that I've never said that an emigrant should have such access. Also, it's a state Duma election, by definition it's going to be affecting the entire country.

Is this why they didn't let even Yabloko to be on the ballot? If they are so unpopular, let them have TV access and be on the ballot, make fools of themselves and let it settle.

You're replying to a very well known troll, just don't bother.
