Looking at the video I’m not seeing the ‘put herself in harms way’ part other than in the ‘you put your face in front of my fist’ sense

Oh right, peaceful protest for one's right totally deserves to be punished by government authorities with this kind of violence. When did the script flip?

She’s likely to sue for excessive force, and she’s likely to win based on everyone who has done so up to now in this context. You might not be able to talk low functioning law enforcement officers out of excessive force, but you can extract from those who employ them.

Depends exactly what she's doing when (I think) the cop is saying "stop stop" before one of them body slammed her.

The force should be proportional to the restraint needed, not punitive because she's struggling against 4 officers.
