I was like, oh, Tom Skerrit from MASH the movie, he played Radar, right? I looked it up and no, Tom Skerrit played "Duke" whom I don't remember as well, it's been a while.
But Tom was Skerrit was in Alien! Who was he in Alien? Was he the guy who got his chest burst at dinner time? And I looked it up, and no that was John Hurt. Tom Skerrit's character I don't remember as well, it's been a long time since I've seen Alien all the way through.
But, ok wait, Tom Skerrit was in Top Gun. Who was he in Top Gun? He was the officer who spilled the coffee on his shirt, right? I looked that up and no, Tom Skerrit played some other guy and my memory is a bit hazy.
Anyhow, RIP Tom Skerrit. I recognize you in everything but remember you from nothing. You were there, though.
