Show HN: Basteon, a finance app that keeps your data on your phone (basteon.app)

Hi HN, I'm Simon. I built Basteon because I wanted one place to see all my money (bank accounts, brokers, cash, gold, real estate, crypto) without giving a company a copy of my transactions/net-worth.

How it works:

Your data lives in an encrypted sqlite database on your phone. There is no account with a stored copy of your transactions on our side.

We have a dumb (no storing/logging) sync-server that connects to Enable Banking, but the actual authorization tokens to get the bank data lives on your device. This is the UX-friendly way.

But for people who want a trust-less setup. The server itself will be open-sourced

We're planning to relaunch Q4 2026.
