Dental implants can hijack your immune system, scientists discover (sciencedaily.com)

This article got my attention. A medical professional friend developed a life-long immune system disorder that is linked to her dental implants. She lives in chronic pain getting only a few hours sleep a night - while owning/running a local medical retail store (and it's mountains of paperwork, etc).

So would it be better to not get one of these implants?

sad/ironic that acidic biofilms are causing implant disease, when often the natural tooth was lost due to acidic biofilms :(

If you need implants, look into zirconia. They don’t have any potential corrosion issues and are more biocompatible.
