LimonOS new OS no Unix no Linux

Wrote everything myself from scratch in pure C without any Linux or pre-built distros. It's a custom monolithic architecture with the Limine bootloader, custom drivers, window manager, and terminal.

As for models and agents: I used LLM agents as co-authors for routine tasks, writing tests, and debugging low-level code. I tuned them to strictly generate code without the standard library (libc) and to create host-side unit tests to verify modules before packing them into the kernel.

Did you use any AI for this? You are claming you built everything from scratch which is impressive. But if you didn't use AI , I would how much it time you took to build this. Also I saw your repo and it looks like you built it in a week so I doubt you did this without AI.

Regardless, please let us know what the X factor of this OS?

An ultra-lightweight download and package manager client for legacy PCs.

I am currently developing an ultra-lightweight package and download manager designed specifically for legacy PCs and resource-constrained systems.

From the HN Guidelines: "Please don't use HN primarily for promotion. It's ok to post your own stuff part of the time, but the primary use of the site should be for curiosity."

You've now posted this 3 different times in the last couple days.

You still tell people to download a zip and run that code. And on some other page you linked from your github it says to enter your AI key.

An OS doesn't need to be downloaded and run in Windows. This continues to be sketch AF.
