Show HN: UnCode – Local voice dictation for Linux (github.com)

Weekend project, uses Whistle (16.9 MB)

- Press and hold a key to record, release to transcribe and paste the text.

- Automatically mutes system audio while recording, so it works even when listening to music.

- Runs entirely locally, no cloud required.

- Tested on Ubuntu 26.04.

- Works for up to 30 seconds (Whistle limit)
