Piuma was born from a simple need: a lightweight panel that shows what the machine is doing without turning into a desktop environment of its own, without the need of opening configuration files to nake it work (the bar comes with a configuration utility), without the need of many other utilities (wallpaper manager , screensaver, etc ).
