Google Cloud Platform samples, now on GitHub (googledevelopers.blogspot.com)

I can understand expecting Google to use their own code hosting, but honestly I'm not that surprised that they're using GitHub.

Google Code was a step up from SourceForge, but GitHub revolutionized the way that developers collaborate. It is therefore the place to post code if you want to involve community engagement.

We recognize that GitHub is a well respected platform and embrace the concept of social coding as it relates to our code samples.
