I always liked the look of it, but then you get people who want Word documents and I basically tell them I can't give them one. If they insist I end up telling them I'm not interested.

There are conversion tools (e.g. http://www.grindeq.com/index.php?p=latex2word) but (fortunately) I haven't had to use any of them so I can't comment on how well they do. For my line of work, if someone insisted on a Word doc, that'd be a strong indicator that I didn't want to be there.
