Data Visualization of the Languages of NYC tweets (ny.spatial.ly)

University College of London's James Cheshire, Ed Manley, and John Barratt gathered 8.5 million geo-located tweets between January 2010 and February 2013. They then placed points every 50 meters throughout the city and illuminated all the different languages throughout the paths.
