Is this aimed at people like us who could poke a hole in this advice, or like the password sentence complexity comic it is for non-technical people?
It's aimed at technical people but sarcastically written as if talking to non-technical people who can't be bothered with the complexity of verifying signatures.
I assumed it's aimed at those of us who know better, but are too lazy to actually verify signatures. If I'm using my own computer with Thunderbird and Enigmail set up, it checks them automatically for me, but if I'm checking my email from somewhere else through a web client, I'm guilty of assuming that signatures are valid without checking them.
Great, now spammers are going to start including fake PGP blocks :)
