"Paintable" Checkboxes (quickenloans.github.com)

Pretty cool stuff! Obviously, the biggest issue with this isn't the tech but rather the user retraining necessary for this to be remotely usable. Check boxes have always been "click to toggle the check box under the mouse cursor" and users are going to expect them to work that way.They'll never think (unless you tell them) to drag over several check boxes.
