Balanced is looking for infrastructure engineers

Balanced is growing FAST. We're looking for sharp engineers to help us tackle some of the challenges we've been facing.

Some of them are:

- scaling our real-time support infrastructure

- engineering Balanced in a public manner on github (https://github.com/balanced/balanced-api)

- solve challenging risk/fraud using machine learning

- help us build our backend and frontend systems as we tackle international growth

Here are some of the requirements:

- You should be able to enjoy and quickly hacking in multiple languages.

- You should be reasonably comfortable on the frontend

- You are very comfortable with everything below the application layer - performance tuning, db instrumentation, and server architecture.

- You are very data driven.

- Your communication skills are fantastic.

- You are big fan of open source and understand that we're an open company[1].

Technical requirements:

- We're a Python shop, but we cater to polyglots :)

- You know how to properly model systems

- You understand what DevOps is about

- You know your way around SQL
