Working my way through it, though I have to admit I jumped ahead to Appendix B. I agree with the "premature" optimizations and lots of good data to backup performance as a feature. Great read so far. Thanks for sharing.

I love mongodb ad redis book from Karl. I'll print & read this one too :)

The Makefile and pdf template for this and the redis book, I think are great, approachable, examples of using pandoc to generate a multi-format book.
