Ask HN: Your 2-cents on operating crypto xchng in us w entity formed foreign?

"Real" currencies and crypto, based on and birthed on crypto though.I have spent the last 2 months aiding in the security aspects of a building said exchange. All the while the business end was still up in the air.A decision has been made, and it is to be a foreign entity, while all founders and employees operate here, in the states.My concern is, is the money+excitement+risk really worth it to spend everyday wondering if I've aided evil people get evil things done and facilitated the process, and more importantly if today is the day I will hear from the federales.What I'm not sure about is if I'm giving it a legitimate concern. I know companies do this, I know that we will be using multiple lawyers, but it all smells fishy to me, and its only just the beginning, which is not a good foreshadow. Would love to get your 2-cents.Thanks!
