Ask HN: What tech conference should I go to

I just started at a company that offers a nice size chunk of change to go to any tech related conference. Its a rails shop so most of the developers hit up rails conferences. I'm new to ruby but have had my eyes on strangeloop for awhile now. Thoughts?
