Apportable (YC W11) is hiring Objective-C experts

The Apportable SDK cross-compiles iOS apps to Android, without changing the original Objective-C or C++ code. Games powered by Apportable have risen to the top of the charts and delighted millions of users through the Google Play Store, Amazon Appstore, and the Humble Android Bundle. The platform is built on open source projects like GNUstep, CFLite, and Cocotron as well as our own implementations of UIKit and other libraries.

Things you might work on:

In your first week, you’ll refactor the build system, implement a missing Objective-C framework, wrap third-party Java and Objective-C libraries, crush bugs, whip up a demo, and help a developer bring a title to market. By week two, you'll see your work in the hands of millions of Android users.

You might be a fit if:

- You have experience shipping complex Objective-C apps or cross-compiling using the Android NDK.

- You know a lot about OpenGL ES, Objective-C, and C++.

- You enjoy a sink-or-swim environment with very little process. If you require lots of direction and red tape, you will be unhappy here.
